Crowne Plaza London - Gatwick Airport, an IHG Hotel

The hotel overall was superb, the room was great except for the bathroom, which was absolutely freezing. Our welcome on entering was warm, friendy and efficient. The room was small but spotless, perfectly styled and decorated, with everything you needed and very relaing We had a meal in the Olive Restaurant, which was excellent, the service was quick and the staff attentive without being everpowering. The food was absolutely delicious, with every course. We had a great nights sleep as the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast in the morning, again was delicious and the self service was well run, the coffee machine worked well and was good quality. All over the hotel it was well maitained and very clean and the staff from Manager to the cleaners, were efficient, friendly and concientious. WE will return and can highly reommend this hotel. Basic ambience - restaurant, bar etc. Staff very helpful and welcoming at reception, breakfast and dinner. The evening deals were hotel prices but not over-the-top. In some hotels, eating at the restaurant is just not a choice because of the inflated cost, but not so here.

I recommend to book your flight via LGW and hotel at crown plaza. It's less crowded and quiet whenever touring London. The location of the hotel is 30 minutes away by bus from London Gatwick airport costs 1 gbp or by airport taxi costs 28 gbp. The shopping mall and restaurants are 10 minutes walk. Furthermore, you can book tours via klook (Windsor castle, Stonehenge, Oxford) where meeting place would be in Victoria couch station. You can spend your whole day touring downtown london via city sightseeing bus and sleep peaceful at crown plaza. The international breakfast buffet is served until 10am. You can sit and meet people from airline industry, student and local tourists. Mr. Krisha and Ms. Diana were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back here.

Super friendly staff. I arrived late evening and they specially kept the kitchen working after 10pm so I could still have some dinner. And the dinner was good! Also breakfast was excellent. Location is not bad, close to the airport, but not in walking distance.

Everything. The staff were all friendly and lovely. Everyone tried to help before anything arose and we were welcomed with open arms. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room was away from the main part so it was lovely and quiet.
